Our Neighborhood

The Belle Point Country Estates Subdivision was established on January 29, 1962 by Atwood Freeman and initially developed by Mary H. T. Butler.

With over 400 residential lots located in Belle Point, it is located north of Brunswick in Glynn County Georgia. Most of the homes were built during the 60s through 80s and represent a variety of architectural styles. There is an abundance of nature and mature trees lining the quiet streets. Many of the properties back up to the expansive marsh, providing stunning views of tidal creeks, St. Simons Island, and beautiful sunrises.

Belle Point is conveniently located just east of Route 17 and a short distance from I-95. The amenities of St Simons Island, Jekyll Island, and Historic Brunswick are just minutes away.

Our Homeowner’s Association

The Belle Point Homeowner's Association (BPHOA) is a volunteer organization that was revived in 2004. Our goal as an association is to "maintain and enhance property values in our subdivision". We aim to help protect the safety, friendliness and beauty of our neighborhood and to provide information to homeowners for local services and amenities.

Our low membership dues provide camera security, street lighting, maintenance of the landscaping at our entrances and to over 3 acres of common areas, basketball court, and miniature neighborhood libraries. 

The 3 acre park is available for use to all members. We host several events throughout the year including a fall festival, movie nights, Boston butt sale, and a Fourth of July celebration.   

We are not a strict association, but do recognize the value in maintaining the upkeep of our neighborhood and pride ourselves on the unique features that make Belle Point special. 

HOA a Benefit for Business Owners

A unique benefit of being a member of the Belle Point Homeowners Association is your business will be featured in our neighborhood business directory. This directory is available on our website and Facebook page. 

We also have neighborhood informational signs located at both entrances that are updated monthly. We feature a different business each month and have gotten a great response from neighbors supporting neighbors.
